Lurata Lyon
Lurata is an international Public Speaking & Presentation Skills Coach. She lived in Singapore for five years working with C Level clients but also was involved with Ambassadors and charities to stop violence and human trafficking. She is the Author of "The Devil Couldn't Break Me" based on her life story and an inspiring Motivational Speaker.
Lurata was a victim of human trafficking and organ harvesting during the war in Yugoslavia, at 17 years of age she found herself kidnapped and fearing for her life. After 6 months of being held in a solitary confinement, abused and beaten, she finally got rescued and was moved to safety in the UK as a political refugee, where she was granted an indefinite leave to remain in the country. Lurata didn't choose to be a victim of such crime, but she chose to be a survivor and the voice for those still in great need. She transformed her life and continues to do the same for others by helping them overcome their obstacles and turn their pain into gain. She has more than 15 years’ experience in coaching, development and mentoring.
She is a very sporty lady, heavily involved in Martial Arts such as Brazil Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing and Black Belt in Taekwondo. She has taken part in films since her passion for acting started at a very young age at a local drama school in her hometown where she was studying. She has a great passion for fast cars and rides a big Motorbike. Her Motto is: 'If it's meant to will be, if not I will make it happen’
